KHANA PEOPLE BLAME PAST ADMINISTRATION FOR NON-INCLUSION OF BORI INTERNAL ROADS AND ZONAL HOSPITAL IN GOVERNOR FUBARA'S ONE-YEAR ANNIVERSARY PROJECTS
The 2023 PDP House of Representatives aspirant for Khana/Gokana Federal Constituency and the President-General of Ogoni Youth Federation has expressed disappointment with the Nyesom Wike-led administration for siphoning monies meant for Bori Internal Roads and the Zonal Hospital, which prevented these projects from being included in the ongoing project commissioning events marking Governor Fubara’s one year in office.
The exclusion of the Khana internal roads and the Bori Zonal Hospital from these projects is a glaring oversight that should not go unaddressed. These vital projects were to be part of the current administration's achievements if the previous administration, under Governor Nyesom Wike, had not allegedly misappropriated funds allocated for them.
We appeal to Governor Sim Fubara to take immediate action by revoking the contracts for the Bori internal roads from the current contractors. We urge the Governor to reassign these contracts to credible and competent contractors to ensure their swift and efficient completion. We wholeheartedly commend Governor Sim Fubara for his exceptional leadership and dedication to the development of Rivers State. In just one year, he has surpassed expectations, delivering numerous projects and initiatives that have significantly improved the lives of our citizens.
His resilience and commitment to progress, even in the face of daunting challenges and provocations, have been truly inspiring. Governor Fubara’s administration has shown a remarkable ability to overcome obstacles and drive forward with the development agenda. We are confident that under his leadership, Khana will soon receive the attention and resources it rightfully deserves.
