The court has imposed a fine of N5 million on Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan for contempt. She is also required to publish apologies in two national newspapers and on Facebook.
She is also required to pay the N5 million to the federal government within the next seven days.
On Friday, Justice Binta Nyako determined that the suspended legislator violated her directive by issuing a satirical apology to Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
